Our firm has extensive experience in employment law and Labour Relations matters. We provide services at various levels including Development of legal opinions and advice to various clients on Labour related matters; drafting and review of disciplinary codes and procedures; drafting of employment contracts; administration of internal disciplinary proceedings; advice and representation at the CCMA and Labour Court and Labour Appeal Court. We have experience in labour matters at all the levels mentioned.
We have also provided expert advice on the development of various Human Resource policies including but not limited to recruitment and selection, remuneration, restructuring, termination and retrenchment amongst others. As a result, we have extensive knowledge of the various pieces of legislation governing Human Capital which include the Labour Relations Act, Public Service Act, Proclamation 103 of 1994, the Public Service Regulations, 2001, Employment Equity Act and the Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
We have also conducted labour related investigations to assist clients to properly and accurately formulate charges and, successfully prosecuted disciplinary hearing cases.
